Operate
To start and start the pump, the discharge line must be opened to allow trapped air to escape, thus avoiding the possibility of air locks. When the discharge valve is closed, the pressure switch will automatically shut off the pump and the pressure has risen to the switch off set point. The pressure switch will restart the pressure switch pump.

For the price, seems like a good deal, BUT..., they pump isn't marked ANYWHERE on it which side is in and which is out. Nothing in the paperwork either. Basically, I had to test it with a bucket of water to see which side has pressure/suction. Anyway, I've included a diagram in my review for those who end up wasting time because of pure mfg laziness, just so we don't plumb the thing the wrong way and have to tear stuff apart and redo. Will leave a long-term review when appropriate.
