What sucks about this seller is how he uses improperly and falsely advertises these pipes to meet metric standard ("5mm ID" and "8mm" OD) as the dominant measurement but also sneakily includes imperial measurements presumably as a way to shield himself from charges that he falsely advertises his products. Bottom line -- don't trust his metric measurements, they are NOT accurate, and so if you require precise parts you will be disappointed as I have been. Actual measurements are 5.45mm ID & 8.26mm OD. What a waste of my time.

This tube's are ideal for diy projects that will hold little to no weight. Probably best suited for decorative pieces. They are thin walled tubes is why I say this. They worked well for my project and look great. I was worried about cracking when I cut them. I used a fine tooth blade and had no issues. Just a nice clean cut.

I got this in order to construct a solar fountain, as I needed to keep the nozzle vertical through a pot/decorative stones. This works a treat. It cuts easily with a hacksaw and I used sealant to secure it in place.They are ultra clear, so it isn't visible within the decorative stones.Lots of gauges available for the specific job and price is pretty good at £11.49 for 4.

I was pleased to try this 'Rebower 14" Clear Plastic Rigid Pipe 4mm x 8mm(0.2" x 5/16") Acrylic Tube Round Polycarbonate Tubing, [for Plumbing, Hydraulics, Aquarium, DIY] - 4Pcs'. I wanted them to make two upright modern radiators in 12th scale, for my new beach house dolls house.You get four beautifully clear rigid polycarbonate pipes, with an inner diameter of 4mm and an outer diameter of 8mm, making just the perfect size for my 12th scale project. They are 14cm long and I will use a fine hacksaw to cut them in half, fill the ends to a dome shape, with self hardening clay and rub the shiny surface with fine sandpaper to make a key, I will probably use spray paint for a uniform surface and mount four each onto two little brackets, evenly spaced. They will look very realistic. I will even fashion ''copper pipes' and 'valves' to make a complete look on the wall of the dolls house.They are perfectly straight, all the same 14cm length and very strong. There are all sorts of other uses for this type of pipe, apart from this crafting use. I am very happy with the quality of these tubes. The current price of £9.49 is fair, in my opinion.
