Ive used this to install light bars on my truck and set up lights at my house and I’ve had no complaints from this wire. Well insulated and good transfer of electricity. I’d get this again.

I gave it 5 Stars because it's quality, but I would note that this is the largest 18g stranded wire I've ever seen. This isn't because the sheathing is extra thick, but because the strands measure 14g. It still worked for the task I needed it on, but could definitely be a problem if you must have *actual 18g*

This 12-gauge wider is easy to work with. It's the right thickness (gauge). Flexibility is medium. Stripping it is fairly standard (average difficulty). It's easy to split it into two independent cables, one red, one black. The current price of $38 for 200ft is reasonably competitive as well. Under load, the cable hasn't gotten hot yet.I am using this for electrical work, and not audio, so I can't comment on audio.

I am using this 14 Gauge 2 Conductors 50FT Electrical Wire, Red Black Cable as speaker cable, and it works fine for this purpose. It is of course, un-shielded, but my use case does not have much local interference so this is not an issue. Your mileage may vary for use as speaker cable, but it's been fine for me.

It's nice two conductor wire and it's what I was looking for, especially the price, very good deal.

First off, the good. This is a nice feeling wire that is true, if not larger than true to gauge size. As you can see in the pictures, the green wire is a piece of Calterm (for those that don't know, a very good brand and true to gauge size) and the conductor is at least as thick, if not thicker than the Calterm brand. This is very good.Next for good, the insulation feels nice and is thick which I like. I have used many brands of wire, and sometimes it is too soft or too thin and can be easily damaged and can cause a short.Next for good, the packaging is nice and comes in a nice bag that is re-sealable. This is nice so you can use some of it and have a nice place to store the rest. The only negative, and I actually really like the way the seller lists this clearly, but the fact that this is CCA is a negative. As a person who has installed circuits since my childhood and almost lost a vehicle due to CCA (used 8 gauge CCA, should have been 8 ga or 6 ga CCA and it melted), I am apprehensive. Be sure to always upsize the wire if it is CCA and not solid copper. If your project calls 16 gauge, this will work. If it calls for 14 gauge and you want to save money, go up to 12 gauge CCA. The bummer is most do it yourselfers are not aware of the difference and push the limits too far.Overall, This lives up to expectations and even exceeds them in some areas. Just make sure to upsize it for your projects so you don't cause a fire.
