I removed a reverse osmosis system, and there was a tube that went to a push connector fitting on the top of the main drain line under my sink. Once I removed that tube, I used this plug to close-off the push connector fitting on top of the main drain line. The plug fight OK, but if I pulled on it even a little bit, it would come out of the fitting. Since the drain line isn't pressurized, and the fitting was on the top, I figured it would be OK. I would NOT use this plug if there was any pressure in the fitting. Buyer beware.
