I trim my own horses, so not a full time farrier. These are great for the work load i ask of them.

This is my second pair of Nordic Forge hoof nippers. I have tried several brands under $100 and this is the best. I'm a 65 year old female with arthritis in my hands and these make my horses hoof maintenance much easier for me.

This is my second set, the 1st lasted 3 years with regular sharpening. I have 3 ponies and 1 quarter horse. It holds it's edge well when sharpened.

Bought it for my vet as a gift. He said it cuts hooves very well. Seems to be well made
