I used these to secure handles to a shed door. The plastic lining inside the nuts makes for a secure tight fit—I wasn’t able to start by hand-tightening-had to use a wrench to put them on. Worked out very well for me!

These seem to be quite nice, but I got one nut that's 3/8", which doesn't work very well with a 1/4" bolt. But for that, they would have been 5 star.
