These stones are perfect for painting. The stones are incredibly smooth and have a nice variance in size. The shape is oval and fits in the palm of your hand. We are creating a kindness rock garden at our school, and the 142 pc rock set was just what we needed to get the kids creating. We use acrylic markers to color and design the rocks and then I paint a sealer over each stone to withstand the weather. The varying sizes of stone make it fun to create caterpillars, flowers, and other designs with the rocks.

My granddaughters love painting rocks and leaving them for others to find. This is a great set. The rocks are flat, reasonably round, and smooth, and they hold acrylic paint well. The variety of sizes makes them very versatile for any use.

I love this rock set! Perfect for creating painted rocks with my kids without having to go out and search for rocks. I really love that there are various rock sizes in this set and especially love that they are all separated by size which makes things a lot easier when searching for the perfect rock when painting. Excellent! 5/5 definitely recommend!

Wonderful set of ready to use smooth rocks!I love the variations in size and nearly uniform smoothness and flatness of each rock included!These would be perfect for craft projects for kids or adults!I am planning to use them for props for photos shoots as well as painting them for my garden.Overall I have nothing bad to say- they are a great deal and great quality!

These rocks come in a variety of diameter, but they are all really flat. We are using them to create our own flooring in an outdoor kitchen. Because of their uniform depth, they're easy to press into the concrete and keep the floor level and comfortable to walk on.

During COVID, I started painting kindness rocks to share with and hide in the community. These rocks are nice and smooth and for the most part flat. You get a good variety of sizes: 10 large; 12 medium; 20 small and 100+ tiny (less than one inch). The first three sizes give you a sizeable canvas on which to paint. I haven't figured out yet what to do with the tiny sized rocks yet. Some are as small as my thumbnail so perhaps I can create refrigerator magnets or glue them onto the larger rocks as eyes or something along those lines. Perhaps in the future, these packs can contain less tiny rocks. Any painted design will likely be so small that it will be challenging to see any kind of detail. Overall, a good value.
