The screws attached to the frame do not have enough surface area on the handle to hold the frame flat when horizontal as an underside frame. When you tighten it, the weight of the metal easily flexes the screw handle section the puts pressure on the frame and the the droops is extremely apparent.

This is a great camera mount for mounting several items on a single bar. The entire item weighs 4.68 ounces. The bar measures 12.0"x1.19"x0.125". The knobs are plastic with 1/4 -20 screws attached. There are individual 1.0" rubber washers. The protective rubber washers are individual rather than a continuous rubber strip. The bar is mounted to a tripod using the 1/4 inch or the 3/8 inch center-located threaded holes. This is a nice durable item.
