If you’ve dealt with air conditioning or heater problems before you know how annoying it can be. Thankfully this module has turned out to be a simple solution that did not require me to open the hood at all. The installation was extremely simple. I’m not a mechanic but I try to do whatever repairs I can manage and something like this most people could handle. It fit perfectly into my dash and after plugging in a couple of plugs you are done. If you’re into DIY projects to save money this fits the bill. You don’t need any special tools just basic ones you likely already have at home.After getting it installed I put it to the test on a really cold day. The temperature control works like new. I can switch between heating and cooling easily and the fan speeds are easy to dial in. This is a big upgrade from the old flimsy unit. The display is clear and easy to read which is important while driving. The buttons are responsive and feel good when you press them. If your truck is getting up in age you may want to switch this out.
