I hooked this up between my low beam and high beam headlights so I could have all 4 on when my high beams are on but also be able to just have the low beam on when needed. They work as intended and they have been in my car for almost a year now and still work great! No problems at all

I bought these to safely use my power supply as a 12 volt battery charger (our charger is lost in some packing box somewhere). You usually should not connect a power supply to a battery directly, because some power supplies can be damaged if a voltage is applied to them - hence the need for a diode. I tested all 20 diodes and they all worked fine. I ran my home made charger at up to 2 amps and the diode I used didn't warm up noticeably (there was about a 300 mV drop across the diode, so the power dissipated was less than one Watt). These diodes seem very good value to me.

Price was right for the quantity. Since I test everything before use, I found nearly identical forward voltage drops on all - down to the 3rd decimal point.
