This is nice braided cord I’m using it to make jewelry it’s soft and shiny and you can melt the end of the cord with a lighter to seal it I like it so far

The packaging and spool are very poor quality. Although 1.5mm, I find it difficult to thread through smaller than a 3mm hole. Even using a soldering iron knife tip, the melted end bulges quite a bit. Forget about simply cutting with a sharp knife; hopelessly frays. Also bulges a lot under compression, making knot tying difficult. As I was working on pieces with 2mm holes, this cord is useless for my application. I'll stick with 1.5mm leather cord.

The seller I purchased this from shipped me the product quickly, so they did their job. I used this product to secure a pendant close to my neck. I like being able to wear two different pendant necklaces at the same time. I have a slender neck, so I initially couldn't find a small enough chain to place my pendant close to my neck, so I used this.No matter who I tied this product in different ways around my neck, I had to check to make sure that my pendant didn't slide off my neck. Luckily, I was able to find a vendor who sells extra small, thin chain necklaces with clasps that keep my pendant securely close to my neck without falling out.

Arrived on time. 100 yards of 1.5mm black cord. An excellent amount of product for making crafts and jewelry at a very affordable price. The frayed ends melt effectively with a lighter. The cord has a bit of a glossy look to it which is nice, but I'm assuming the glossy look could fade if worn or exposed to water often. Happy with my purchase.

This role should last me till my death. lol. Lots of material and you can probably change out the necklace straps regularly before they get gross or start to come apart. They're a little difficult to thread through the jewelry as they fray where you cut them, but you can order the caps to seal the ends. Do that, it's worth the better look.
