They are plenty strong. use them for my hammock tarp and guy lines. There's enough to throw one or two into each of my tent bags for spares.

A very nice set of 15 tent stakes. These are very light but with a very strong design. Anodized well and made out of 7075 aluminum. 7075 aluminum has the same tensile strength as 1018 steel but is quite a bit lighter. This set of 15 will barely weigh down your pack and 15 stakes should be able to put up 2 tents easily. Comes in a good draw string bag.

stakes are budget priced, durable, featherweight and beat any stakes you might have to whittle in a pinch. they are longer than most chinese knockoffs, and you aren't paying for titanium-but benefit from airweight aluminum. pre-strung with basic loops is an added feature. need these in any poncho pack, shelter kit and tarp, etc.

Spiky design for firm and hard soil or frozen ground. Like every kind they can be damaged in rocky ground, but this should be obvious... pounding any stake into a rock will damage it. Not good in soft sand, and this isn't a negative just a statement. For sand you'd need a wide flat or more v shaped stake. Use the right tool for the job at hand.
