Ignore the advertising for this item. Whoever wrote it has no understanding of how it fits into the Jewish Festival holiday of Passover. This is a "kit" with everything you need to ritually look for Chumitz the night before the holiday, with your family. Pesach is the Hebrew word for Passover. Here is the explanation from wikipedia.....Bedikat chametz, or bedikas chametz (בְּדִיקַת חָמֵץ, is the search before the Jewish Holiday of Pesach for chametz. The search takes place after nightfall on the evening before Pesach (the night of the 14th of the Hebrew month of Nisan, as stated in the Mishnah tractate Pesachim). When Pesach starts on Saturday night, bedikat chametz takes place on Thursday night (two nights before Pesach).This kit contains what you need to do the search. The candles are used to help light up the area you are searching. The spoon and feather are used to scoop up what you chumitz you find into the included paper bag. Chumitz is food that can not be used during Passover. You rid you house of it both physically and ritually the night before Passover.There are enough supplies for four people in this kit. I have never seen anything like this kit but if you order it, it is one less thing to do for busy families getting ready for Passover.
