With this fuse panel, you can have two different voltages split in two sections. I use one for 12v and one for 5v on a proje t, and on another project it is going to be 24v and 5v, but it could also. E 12v 24v if you want. Any two dc voltages or you can wire them in parallel and use just one voltage.

Upper bank and lower bank are separate so one can be wired constant power and one off ignition.

The title says it all. other than that, it's just fine. I'm using it to rewire my jeep and it will work perfectly for that. I only need 10 of the 12 fuse spots. You just shouldn't advertise it having 16 when it only has 12 spots. It's east to wire up, just like it should be. The fuses are cheap Chinese, but I've never had a problem with them. All in all it's worth the money, if you need 12 fuse spots.

I'm not sure people are understanding this fuse block so hopefully I can clear some things up. This fuse block is 'segmented' for two power sources, providing six connections for each power source. Fuse blocks are not rocket science and this one is no exception. You do NOT need to disassemble the fuse block. The two black thumb screws will release the cover so you can access the actual block. These thumb screws are probably the best feature of this fuse block since most others I have used only rely on the edges of the cover 'snapping' into place and over time, they usually fail. The fact that this fuse block has a way of securing the cover is huge in my opinion.Look at the picture I posted that is marked as '#1' and you will see that I am providing power from the battery to terminal 'B' while grounding the battery to terminal 'A' and note that the multimeter shows 13.24 volts when the positive is connected to 'C' and then grounded to ANY middle terminal. However, keeping the battery connected to 'B' but switching the multimeters positive over to the other side of the fuse block on 'C' in the picture labeled as '#2' we see that the multimeter is no longer reading any volts. That is why I say this fuse block is 'segmented' since, if we want to use the terminals on the left of the fuse block (like 'C' in my #2 picture) then we have to supply power from the battery to what I have marked as 'D' but the negative terminals will work for ALL terminals, regardless of whether you supply battery power to the left or right of the fuse block.Don't over complicate this device. All of the terminals in the middle of the block are grounds, hence why there are 12 of them, one for each positive terminal. All of the terminals that align with a fuse but also have a small metal plate under them are your positive terminals to be used for devices, however, each section of six positive terminals is 'mated' to the corresponding positive terminal on the outside of the fuse block. If you only have one power source (battery) but need to connect more than six devices then you would simply run a jumper cable from the 'A+' on the fuse block to the 'B+' on the fuse block, ensure you run a ground wire to either of the '-' on the fuse block (don't need to do both) and viola, power to all twelve terminals.

Whether you’re building a boat, a car or a racing lawn mower these fuse blocks got your back. I use these to temporarily rig up a new circuit in my car project to ensure everything is running properly before final installation. The main body is made of plastic, well the entire thing is pretty much plastic minus the actual metal traces. It’s got a pretty badly designed manual but the idea is pretty straightforward. The added spare fuses is nice to have. Just make sure if you plan to use this for a project that you have space for it because it’s a lot for under a hood or behind a dash.
