Works well. Display could be easier to read during daylight.

Have not used this yet, the cover seems to be very flimsy.

Nice unit that appears to be manufactured well with a sturdy well-sealed case and a cover that most people should be able to keep from breaking. I very much like the individual leg displays but they are very difficult to read in sunny conditions. I have to put both hands around and press my face in to make it dark enough to read the voltage. The other status lights work fine and are more visible, but the digital display could be improved. With an easy to read display this is 5-stars for sure. The price is right and it seems the quality is there. I haven't been able to test the surge capability so I have to trust the manufacturer on that front.

Works good, plugs in easy and has a nice cover to keep it dry. Price was great, about $300 less than the other one I had that failed.

I ordered this 240V, 50A, 16000 joule, surge protector for the storage hookup we are installing at a friend's house for our Class C RV. It's assembled with very good quality, large gauge wire. It includes a diagnostic check, when plugged in, identifying any faults in the source circuit and digital voltage meters for each 120 leg of the 240V RV connection. It has surge protection and an internal, self resetting, circuit breaker should you encounter a short, lightning strike, or other dangerous electrical issue. I am very pleased with it and give it 5 stars.

Having a surge protector for your expensive RV is smart protection. There are a lot of electrical hookups out there that will do damage due to faulty wiring or low/high power. Plugging in the Krevz RV Surge Protector to the electrical post first will let one know if there is an electrical issue. It's as easy as just reading what the lights show. Once you know it's safe, turn off the power, plug your RV into the surge protector and turn the power back on.This surge protector is IP67 rated and can handle being exposed to the elements. Unlike my old surge protector, The plastic cover has ample space to allow the cover to close over the 50amp cords hand grip. The digital screen is a nice touch and shows how much power is coming in for each of the two legs of power. It also provides up to 16,000 joules of surge protection.Krev does offer a three year after sale warranty on its product. There are a lot of expensive surge protectors on the market. For a price of $62.99 (currently 24% off) I feel the price if more than reasonable for what you get in this product. At this time, I definitely recommend this product to others.
