I recommend this product as a replacement kit. Since all grills are different you need to match your model number exactly. My grill has 3 model numbers so be cautious that it matches exactly.

These replaced my originals. When in place, there's a 1/2" gap in the middle between the grates. This was overcome by placing the gaps on the outer ends instead of the middle. The small holes in the grates are also a lot bigger than the originals. They seam to work just fine. Pictures show the gap in the middle and then without gap. Also shows hole size in new and original grates. Last picture shows the back side of the grills. The originals were U shaped and hollow on the underside. The new ones are solid round bars, heavy duty.
