This 1/4" Solid Braid Nylon Rope from CSZFGFDC comes in a convenient 500' roll. This has high UV & abrasion resistance, making it ideal for outdoor projects. The tightly woven strands make securing a breeze. It's great for use in camping, fishing, clothes lines, gardening, or just making forts with your grandkids in the backyard. Nothing beats a good, solid rope. I’m actually using it to make swing set so my grandkids can swing in the back yard.

High quality, consistent rope. Decent UV resistance, so it can be used for outdoor applications like tying down a boat cover. This rope handles and knots well.

Nylon rope isnt the most pliable material for macrame but it's what you need for items going outside. This rope works perfectly for that.Highly recommended

I like this 1/4 Inch Nylon Rope. It is strong and durable, and has many uses around the house and yard. I like how much comes in the spool, so I won't run out of rope any time soon. The 1/4 size is very helpful as it's big enough to be strong, but not big enough not to fit through fences and loops in the tarp and on the truck. It works very well.

My husband uses rope pretty frequently, he likes the look of rope, and it has many uses. This is nice-looking rope for sure, and it does the job that any kind of task would require it to. I can appreciate the look and it is pretty alright with pulling some items, but mainly I like the look of it, and my husband loves the many uses he can have for it.

I love to have good rope about. Be it thin twine to all manner of thickness of different material ropes and lines, they are so applicable to life in general. This item simply occupies a terrific spot on the wall, being a very desirable material and thickness. Nylon itself is so versatile, no surprise. It doesn't chafe, is strong and not overly costly. It's easy to use, and at this gauge, it can fill gaps above and below its "norms' fairly easily.I almost went with the 1/2", and am glad I didn't. At 1/4" I can still use it for tasks calling for 1/2" for the most part, and at 1/4" I can also purpose it toward tasks down to 1/8" when needed. It's a great item, and I definitely recommend having it on hand. Nothing worse than needing rope or line and not having it. Ok, there's lots worse, but much better to have it.

This is as expected - 1/4 inch nylon rope. It's great for outdoor applications due to its resistance to mold, and it's a great value for a large 500 foot spindle. This thickness is ideal for household applications, such as clotheslines, shade sails, camping, etc.1/4-inch nylon rope has a weight limit of 1,200 static pounds (the point at which it will snap), with a working limit of about 20-25% of that (safety limit). So to be safe, I try to stay under 200 pounds. It's resistant to mold, but nylon is not the most resistant to UV - it will degrade and flake over time. If you're using this for any sort of load, do your best to keep it covered, check it frequently, and plan ahead to replace it before it fails. It's soft on your hands - easy to knot, and easy to splice.Regarding marine applications. . .These days most marine ropes are polypropylene, which doesn't absorb as much water a nylon, and doesn't stretch as much as nylon. But nylon can handle more weight, and also doesn't float, making it the best choice for anchors. Nylon is also better for mooring and towing, for the same reason.
