About this item

  • Operating Voltage: DC 9 to 28V, Rated current: 30 Amp.
  • To protect electronics from damaging low voltages and prevent a deep discharge of a battery during an extended power outage, the LVD module will automatically disconnect the battery when the voltage falls below the user adjustable cutoff voltage. When power is restored the Smart Switch will automatically reconnect the battery. thereby protecting the battery from total discharge (helping to prolong the life of the battery).
  • Programmable voltage setting for Disconnect and Reconnect (rocker switch set to AUTO). With emergency ON or OFF function, if you want switch output to be immediate and remain ON or OFF, you can set rocker switch to ON or OFF.
  • Set rocker switch to AUTO, when the battery voltage drops to less than or equal Disconnect Value and continuously held for 5 seconds, load switch will OFF. When the battery voltage rise to greater than or equal Reconnect Value and continuously held for 5 seconds, load switch will return to ON state. this will better prevent malfunction.
  • Based on Microcontroller and MOSFET (on status resistance < 0.003 ohm), more precise voltage, smart and long life switch output. Green-red dual color LED indication for output switch ON and OFF.

simple design, easy setup, you can quickly change the voltage settings for your needs. I setup a fuel transfer pump that runs 12v with an adapter to run 18v batteries. The pump did not sense when the battery is getting low so it will run the cells down to a point that you cannot recharge them and have to replace them. This device takes care of that issue by cutting power at a selected range of operation.

The switch failed after 3 months and stayed in the on position causing batteries to drain. Ruined 3 batteries :(

I had this installed and it worked initially so I thought it was all good. About a day later I changed dip switch settings and it stopped working. Checked to see if it was the battery and it wasn't, checked to see if maybe the connections were not tight, that wasn't the issue. I had to bypass this unit in order to get the item I had installed working properly. Don't waste your money. Good concept crappy product.

It cuts off the connected load at its set voltage, but there’s an LED that continues draining the battery. The whole point is to protect the battery from over discharging. This is useless.

This works great as a low power cutoff to protect my M18 batteries. If you plan to use this for something similar remember to disconnect the battery so drain from the LED doesn't over discharge.

Used in a power wheels conversion for power tool batteries. You will ruin batteries without a low voltage shutoff.

This unit does what it says, but you need a manual shutoff or it keeps slowly draining the battery. Keeps an LED on.
