The dust extracting nozzle(195559-1) allows you to use the router in the garage or the house,even,without getting any sawdust anywhere.This accessory is much needed.
Virtually no dust or chips escaped cutting area.
When used in conjunction with a Makita vacuum or other vacuum system,it limits the amount of sawdust expelled into the air by the router.

Fits perfectly, but... only collects about 60% of the dust - not enough to justify the offset weight issue and not being able to see properly when cutting. Attaching the hose makes the small base tipsy and the "window" is away from you.

It looks like it is a good fit. Seems to be very solidly in place. I haven’t hooked it up to vacuum yet, but am hopeful

It fits my Makita router but the build quality is so poor. I don't think it will last. I'm going to return it.

I could not believe how effective this is. It is not 100%, but I would guess 95+. It does let some some chips through, but there is nothing piling up and no dust to speak of.The fit was perfect and it was easy to install.Glad I purchased it.
