I've used a few O'Skool items in the past and never had any complaints. Like the others, the build quality of this is great. Everything is metal - this is heavy and sturdy. Assembly of the guide wasn't a problem. The big issue I had was adding my DeWalt trim router. I've got it lined-up with the holes like the direction says and no matter which way I turn the router, I can't get it perfectly centered or so I don't have my hand at an awkward angle on the router. It's not terribly off centered - I can still use my largest bits, but not sure I'd be able to use any larger. Does it work as intended? Yes. I might try playing with some of the other holes (or add my own) to make it so I'm not holding the trim router at an angle.

Used this to make built-in drawers in a bedroom, and it worked wonderfully. Would recommend for the weekend warrior homeowner over a table saw solution. This is a nice, sturdy, quality-built tool accessory.

The O'Skool brand makes some nice quality tools and this router guide is no exception! Fitting a wide range of brands of routers, the base plate is beautifully machined of clear acrylic about 1/4" thick. The center hole will also fit any of the Porter-Cable style brass bushings and O'Skool makes a set as well. The guide comes mostly assembled. You just need to attach the baseplate to your router and the guide bar to the bottom of the guide block. They also include all the necessary screws and even a pivot pin for routing circles up to 10.5". There is also a quick-adjust system that you just press down and can quickly adjust. The fine tuning knob moves the guide 1/16" per revolution allowing for very fine adjustment. You can also cut dados and rabbets and they even give you guide pins to self center the router for center cuts on narrow stock. For the money, I don't think you could find a finer router guide that fits so many routers!

This fits my dewalt router right out of the box. It’s well made and reasonably sturdy and accurate. For the price it’s a nice off the shelf solution and lots better than my old homemade guide.

In my picture, I did not have this fully assembled, as I was just checking for alignment and examining all the components for damage. Fully assembled, this is a great product. I like that it has a screw drive for micro-adjustments. My router's edge guide is "rinky-dink" and I wanted something more robust. I am very pleased with the construction and quality of this unit.I ordered this for my Bosch Colt trim router, and I took a bit of a chance because the description only mentions one Bosch model number (which does not match mine). This plate has A LOT of hole configurations, though, and 4 of them do line up perfectly. I will say that the holes that my router fits seem SLIGHTLY off center from the center hole where the bit protrudes, but that won't be a problem as I only run small bits in this router.

This guide is nicely machined and made. The instructions are decent. I mounted my Ryobi battery powered palm router to the plate fairly easily. The width adjustment mechanism is thoughtful. The spring retained clamp does a nice job of keeping the adjustment in place; but, there is also a thumb turn locking knob that you can use as back-up.My main complaint would be with the base. It attached on the edge via (3) screws to the main part of the jib. If you drop or otherwise mishandle the jib, the acrylic base is likely to crack and break. I wish they thought through the durability a bit more. Maybe just provide a 2nd complimentary base for this eventuality?
