This is a great value for the money! Can’t beat the price as I needed an additional base and dust shroud to attach to a router table I made. Of course, I ordered this after making the table with the original base that came with my Makita router and thankfully, it fits PERFECT!*The ONLY complaint I have is that it doesn’t slide as smoothly as the original which does make precise depth adjustment a bit difficult. Although, the tight hold is kinda nice as I definitely do not want this to potentially slide out when being used in a router table.- Build quality is great and dare I say the dust shroud seems sturdier than the branded one (?)- Functionality is perfect for my use case as it is easy to slip the router in when I need it on the router table.Overall, definitely worth the price and would 100% recommend giving this as try. Love that it comes with the dust shroud too, just makes sense - probably my one biggest complaint about the original base the router comes with.
