Update: the seller offered to send new spigot citing that there might have been a problem with the fittings or seal. I declined because I had already repurposed it. Gave a couple stars for their desire to make it right.Original review: Used it for water in the fridge. Made water have a bad metallic smell. Thought it might be the spigot. Cleaned and dried it thoroughly again the smell set in a couple days later. Is it really food grade stainless steel??? I have my doubts. Too late to return so that stinks too.

Love this dispenser. Needs a bit of silicone to ensure the tap seal is tight.A good size and attractive.

this has been working well for my needs -- making kombucha. there was some leakage that took a set of pliers to fix but once that was tightened, it all worked well. only other issue has been the lid; it doesn't fit onto the thread very well and can be hard to take off if tightened down.

Purchased for detergent in laundry room. Was initially concerned that it would leak. It does not! After about 2 weeks of use, it has been working great.

The only issue we had was a pop on strainer for the spigot kept falling off ( into someone’s drink, so we just don’t use it.

Very well made, leak proof, thick glass, comes with a lid, little mesh filter for the spigot, very cute wooden label, white chalk pen, and the thermometer strip. Highly recommend it!

We ordered a couple more for the holidays. They are so convenient and great quality. The seal is great for iced tea. Great for outdoors and parties.

Jar is very pretty. Unfortunately a sheet of plastic wrap was placed between the jar and the lid for shipping. Made it impossible to remove the lid. Can't review the spout because it was packaged inside the jar that cannot be opened. Returning the whole thing.
