Super fine, and very light touch. I use them in watch repair, for hair spring work. The tips are almost as thick as the spring, which I need a microscope to see, haha. I wanted titanium for durability and non magnetism. They are perfect.

For micro-electronics work I usually use tool steel or stainless tweezers. Tweezers typically last 3-6 months on my bench before they're tired and bent, so I consider them a "consumable" like gloves or solder. Figured I'd try a set of these Ti "baby blues" - even though they don't look as "professional" as the stuff I normally buy. Well, I was surprised. The quality is very good and knurling is sharp and even! They are indeed titanium, which surprised me. The titanium tips stay straight and are "springier" than stainless, which as we all know is soft and gummy. Note that they are very fine, and Ti tends to be brittle. I would not use these on anything larger than microelectronics wire... for example wire-wrap wire, which is pretty fine, is too large for them. A bit too fine for hobbyist work. That said if you do any SMD work, they would be useful to have.

I purchased this item to replace my WIHA precision tweezers, such as these ones look even more precise. I though they would be more helpful for soldering small components, like 0201 and 0402 types of resistors and capacitors. It was a wrong decision, the components tend to jump out of this tweezers and of course, to be lost. The tweezers work like a catapult for small items while WIHA ones work as expected. However, when you need to reach a very small spot between tiny components, this item is useful, but expect some losses and order a reserve of small components.

I perform microsurgery on a daily basis and I have to tell, the forceps from companies like Fine Science Tools and others are just too expensive. Since the tips of these forceps are very delicate, it gets very difficult to not damage the instruments during daily use. This can get expensive if you damage a $50-70 instrument.I got these for $17 and I love them. The only negative thing i'd say is that although the tip of the instrument is really really fine, its still not fine enough for me. But I can get around this problem by sharpening the tip with a sand paper. When these break, I hope to make another purchase from the same company!
