Actual 3/4 sized tailpieces are hard to find—full sized is just too big. This has decent fine tuners and tailpiece gut pre-installed. This is genuine ebony with a Parisian eye installed. I had to spread the hooks apart just a little on a couple of the tuners to accommodate ball end strings – a thin blade screwdriver does it in a couple seconds. I installed it on a hundred year old German student fiddle — looks great and works perfectly! The only downside is that it took weeks to ship from overseas — if I was in a hurry, this wouldn’t do. Setup tip: the tail gut is stiff so use a large rubber band to hold the tailpiece in place with the gut around the end pin until you can get some tension on the strings. Easy peasy.

Its real ebony wood. Real inlay. Fine tuners work great. Way better than the cheap plastic ones that cost twice as much.
