For under $10.00 didn't expect much, bought several months ago haven't even opened the antistatic bag it was sealed in until this weekend, replaced another pulse generator just to see if the component was the issue. As reported in other reviews, it won't start the motor if set for high speed, when starting or reversing need to slow down the pot. In my system I was using it in got a lot of vibration/ noise in the motor at some of the settings trial and error with the jumpers got it smoothed out. Did it's job. Not sure what else it would be good for other then testing drivers/ motors/ wiring.

This is very frustrating. There is no manual or very limited documentation for the board. The board connectors are not fully labeled some are in Chinese. If you are going to sell something provide a manual fully describing all the functions, inputs and outputs, jumper settings etc.. I will probably just return it.

the biggest issue i had was the motor would not turn if speed was preset very high. you have to start the motor slow and then turn up the speed

I have lots of steppers around my shop, and need something to run them without a computer program. This in conjunction with a stepper driver (I'm using a TB6600) runs my steppers. The controller has 3 freq settings for controlling the driver-stepper. The pot adjusts the pulse frequency, and the push buttons control power and direction. Works well, works easily
