Must be a better way, this design is not productive just annoying to use, instead of buying this thing find another way. I don’t recommend it at all. We need a design that is one piece and keeping the crown molding evenly in place, don’t waste your money on it.

Missed the time to return. Had the hardest time getting it to work only to realize (after having a carpenter friend look at it) one of the clamps was defected... otherwise probably would have been good.

Easily installed to my chopsaw, worked well for my cuts. Alot easier than the plastic jigs that they make

Overall, these seem like good crown stops. Material is solid, so it's not going to slop on you after it's screwed down. I've got a DWS 779 and it installed just fine on my rig. I didn't initially realise that there are struts underneath the saw to attach the screw clips that come with the crown stops, but once that was figured out, everything went swimmingly (included some pictures to show you where to put them on the DWS 779). Those clips are friction fit, and even though they are on there mighty tight, I'm still planning on leaving the screws attached to the clips even when I'm not using the stops, just to make sure they don't fall out .I'm a little bummed you can't flip the stops around the backside of the saw in case you needed to cut some trim or just to have them sitting there for when you need them. To do so you need to remove the fence and at that point it probably takes just as much time to take the stops off anyways. However, this seems to be true for any of the crown stops out there so it's not as if these are any worse than, say, what DeWalt is already putting out as their brand product crown stops.I don't own the DeWalt brand crown stops, but from what they have online these stops seem comparable in size and material but at (at the time of writing this) about half the price. Seems like a good deal to me.The measure from the fence to the maxed out crown stop is 4-1/8" if anyone wanted to know.
