I bought this for the size of holes to catch turtles in my pond as we have too many. It works great and without spending hundreds of dollars on a trap. I caught 3 4 to 6 inch turtles in 3 hours! This trap is not heavy duty but it is getting the job done just fine. I have also caught a number of small fish that are easily put back in the pond without unzipping anything. I check trap every hous to insure turtles are not drowning and nothing is being harmed. Great gadget and I have had nothing escape. Great size, easy to set up and toss out and comes with plenty of line. Will buy again

I tried catching some fish in a river and when I pulled it up, there was a giant hole in it, and there was only two fish left but when I first got it, it was perfectly fine

Easy to install and take down. Works excellent for trapping fish in the river, I used bread and fiddler crabs on the beach, I used raw chicken pieces. Highly recommend.

I was excited about these, the idea is great, they fold up and can be put away in smaller places. The execution is terrible, the netting is thin and cheaply put together, it ripped in multiple places after the first few uses. The plastic pieces that create the umbrella effect also broke very quickly. Both items are not useable anymore (after 3 days of using them). If you get these, use very light bait and treat them gently and you might get a few more uses out of them.

The net is easy to use and lightweight. My husband love fishing and catching crabs so I got this for our FL trip. The net was good at catching small crabs. It is not sturdy in the water so you have to keep an eye on it so often. Big fish tend to knock down the net so we had to fix it. The net is very thin so I don’t know it this net can last a long time since we only used it once and it’s already kind of bended. I think this net is more suitable for small lakes and ponds not for ocean catching. We didn’t really catch anything on our trip but We will try again on our next water trip.
