Obviously it's a little early in the season, but I'm confident based on the size and construction that these are going to finally protect my precious fruit from being sabotaged by squirrels and birds.

I got this pair of fruit tree netting for some raised gardening beds that the local wildlife just won't leave alone. They are perfect, very well made, have a drawstring on the bottom to secure it around the base, and a zipper to get in to it if you need to. I could see how they would be great for fruit bearing trees, and many other uses as well.

These protective nets seem fairly well made with fairly heavy duty mesh and a reinforced seam, zipper, and drawstring. Although the illustrations on the sales page make them look rounded, these are really just square bags with a seam at the top, a zipper on the side, and a drawstring at the bottom. Putting them on a tree is fairly easy, although I had a little trouble since it was windy and they picked up the wind somewhat like a parachute. I found the best way to put them on my smaller trees was to leave the zipper closed and work the drawstring bottom over the top and down toward the trunk of the tree. For a larger tree you might want to open the zipper, although you still need to work the drawstring over the top of the tree unless you remove the drawstring from its adjustment spring clip. I actually got these to protect some small crabapple trees from being attacked by the deer that frequent our yard. The deer don’t actually eat crabapple trees, but they bite the tops off to see if they like them, as shown in a couple of the attached pictures. Because I also have a fence around the trees to keep the deer from rubbing against the trunk, I just put the drawstring bottom around the outside of the fence instead of around the trunk. However, I had to tie it to the fence with the drawstrings so it didn’t blow up and off of the tree. This shouldn’t be an issue if you draw the bottom tightly around the trunk. And if you are using these to protect the plant from insects, you definitely would want the bottom to be drawn tightly around the trunk. I am also planning to add a couple of 8 foot tomato stakes on the inside to help hold the netting up since I am a little worried that a strong wind might cause these to bend or even break the branch’s which are supporting the netting. These are not the most attractive option for protecting a tree since the trees now look a little like ghosts standing in our yard. Hopefully they will look a little better when I put the tomato stakes in to hold them up so they aren’t just flopping over the tree and billowing in the wind. And if your plants are a little fuller than my saplings, the netting will probably just take on the shape of your tree or bush. Most importantly for me, they should stop the deer from biting the branches. In the past I have used similar netting to protect tulips from the deer, and it was quite effective even though equally unattractive. Overall these provide a fairly low-cost way to protect trees or bushes.

These are well made of a very fine mesh that will keep bugs/birds out while letting the sun in. They have a good long zipper that will make it easy to wrap a tree and a drawstring to draw them up tightly. They are of ample size for a fruit tree and are a good value for the money.

These are fine for small-med fruit bushes and dwarf fruit trees, but too small for standard fruit trees or larger bushes. They are well constructed and will probably last more than one season, so they aren't exactly disposable. Overall worth the try, but wouldn't fit our fruit trees.

Last summer, the birds had a feast at our expense, leaving us with barely any peaches that didn't have giant gaping holes in them. This year, we're prepared! This 2-pack of fruit tree netting is just what our adolescent peach trees needed. The netting is lightweight but feels durable, and the drawstring and zipper make it easy to secure around the trees. It’s like wrapping them in a protective, breathable hug.I'm thrilled to think we'll finally get to enjoy our own homegrown peaches without sharing them with every feathered friend in the neighborhood. Plus, I've noticed a significant decrease in wasps buzzing around the yard, which is a bonus. I seriously hate wasps!! It’s a simple solution that promises a sweet reward, and I can already imagine the joy of biting into a sun-warmed peach, knowing we saved it from those cheeky birds. 🍑 🐦

Absolutely perfect! The squirrels can't get to my blue berry bushes anymore! Looks like we will have a good harvest this year finally. Also keeps bugs and birds off of the plants
