Liked the was it was made. Our son used it with a tall ladder to go on our roof to install an exhaust fan.

Excellent purchase and very satisfied. I purchased based on previous reviews and let me tell you that you cannot go wrong with this product. The roof at my cabin has a pitch that is not very enticing to "roofers" and I have been turned down for repairs in the past. After searching for a solution that would allow me to easily get to the ridge without risk of falling, buying harnesses and rope, I was very fortunate to come across this item. It took me less than 5 minutes to put together and start using. Depending on how your roof is laid out you may need a second ladder and someone to help you. My setup allowed me to use an 8 foot ladder to get to the flat part of my roof, then with the assistance of someone else, we lifted the long ladder into place, rolled up to the ridge, then simply flipped it over and the T-bar hooked to the ridge cap. I am 6'1 225 LBS and felt very comfortable and safe walking up and down the ladder. I don't really of a negative comment about the product, only wish you could easily slide it across the roof, instead of having someone up top moving it as you move the lower end.

Better than nothing but definitely room for significant improvement. First off, these things are heavy. It makes maneuvering the ladder around the roof extremely difficult. The wheels help a little bit, but with both of these on the end it is cumbersome. The point of attachment to the ladder is also not the greatest, they tend to move around and work themselves loose quite often which makes it even more annoying to work with. I actually ended up using just one on the end of the ladder, which I am sure the manufacturer does not recommend, but made moving the ladder around significantly easier. I would be very cautious of these on a metal roof, not too sure how well the hooks would stay secured at the peak. Overall I kept this a 4 because they work, and were better than having nothing at all.. they are just a pain to deal with.

The Kenzye Ladder Roof Hooks really solved a big problem. We got a great new shed which we had to paint to match our house. My husband went up on the 8/12 pitch roof to prime the roof window section. He kept sliding down as we only had a ladder against the edge of the building. He kept yelling that his skinny “butt” was falling off the roof. He was putting his feet against the ladder to hold himself up there. After the primer disaster, I researched how to stabilize him on the roof to paint. I read lots of reviews and settled on the Kenzye brand Ladder Roof Hooks. THEY ARE WORTH EVERY PENNY!!! My husband was able to climb the ladder to the roof, pull up the roof hooks attached to another ladder, and roll it up and over the roof peak. The hooks hold a ladder flat on the roof. The roof hooks are well constructed, rugged, and durable. My husband was able to lay on the ladder and paint the roof window successfully and safely. His skinny “butt” has been preserved.
