We ordered this for our Bullfrog spa. The filter # in it is 10-00282, this says it is comp. to that filter. It does not fit. Wasted money!!!

(Update: Just got back from the farmhouse and sat in the hot tub several evenings. After a day of remodeling it felt great. And the water was as clean as could be. These filters work perfectly. I have to keep that in mind next time I need a replacement set.)Our Bullfrog filters were getting way too old, but with the sticker shock of new ones I had been putting off replacing them. Then I saw some available for review and figured what did I have to lose?Everyone talks about no notches and so you either have to cut aftermarket filters or they will not fit. And in opening the box you are presented with the tops of these filters, which are round with no notch. So I figured I was looking at some work or a fail. But then I flipped over the filter. Much to my surprise the bottom has an oval opening. A little light went on in my head and I saw the method to their madness.Sometimes companies design things so that if anyone copies them they can claim patent infringement. Hence the silly little notch. It is completely unnecessary except to protect Bullfrog from competition. After all, a filter is a filter. But this company came up with a solution. Make the opening on the bottom wide enough to fit even without the notch.And as long as you keep the wide part of the opening in line with the added bar inside the filter mount these filters fit quite easily without modification. I had the old ones out and the new ones in in less than two minutes. And the tops of the filters fit nicely down on to the filter mount and the top locking parts screwed on easily.I am completely satisfied. Nice filters for a greatly reduced price.
