I wasn't sure what to expect to be honest when I ordered this. I have a rain gutter that dumps into a garden near a sidewalk. The sidewalk is constantly being flooded, meanwhile the flowers are not getting much water. I do have original gutters on my house, so they are 20+ years old.I pulled everything out of the box and determined that I needed the smaller attachment and a tube. The install took less than 5 minutes, most of it was cleaning out old growth, and boom! It was done. It didn't matter that the downspout was a little misshapen because of years of abuse, the screws attached quickly and held firmly.Yes, it is lighter weight, but it was super easy to maneuver around and get exactly where I wanted.

I got this downspout to help with a serious issue of water standing and seeping right along the house that in turn has created foundation issues. These have been a lifesaver due to them extending so long and eliminating any continued damage: They appear to be of higher quality material then what I have had before. The functionality is what’s stands it apart since you can bend and stretch to fit the needs. This is a great value due to getting two for what the price of one in some cases. Also these come with these special screw to allow to permanently help assists in these staying in place. Definitely recommend

Our gutters stop right at the foundation of the house, and there’s no french drain system, so the water just sits and seeps into the ground right there, and just ends up a muddy mess that our dog likes to play in.I like that we can move this around so that we can keep the water from becoming mosquito breeding grounds in any one area, and can squish it back closed so we can do lawn care or if we’re having a bbq or something.

I have a gutter that is dumping water too close to my deck and it rooted out the wood. The deck has been replaced but the water problem still exists, until now.Let me just say that 127 inches is a long way. These stretch like crazy. It's best, though, to only stretch them as much as you need and keep the rest of it compressed. That will help the water flow more smoothly and potentially catch less debris in the troughs of the accordion. Also, make sure you take the time to use the screws to secure it to your gutter downspout so it doesn't come loose in a big storm or if a squirrel or rabbit jumps on it. I buried mine under the much and dug a shallow trench to lay it.5 stars.

I like these downspout extenders better than the ones from the hardware store. Look, they're all some type of plastic and will eventually succumb to winter freeze and UV damage, so I'm glad this pack came with two. I don't need 10 feet of gutter downspout extender, but that's a neat feature of this one. Multiple pre-drilled holes make this a snap to connect to my old spout. Most of the work was cleaning the leaves from around the old spout. I hope to get a couple seasons out of this one and then I'm on to the next one. I do recommend!

We've got a funky downspout on our garage, and until I come up with a better permanent solution, a flexible plastic tube is the best way to get water away from the building. The previous owners had bought one that was totally falling apart, and this seemed like a good replacement option. So far, it's even better than I expected. The plastic is thick and seems considerably sturdier than the old tube I replaced. It's easy to fit over the aluminum downspout outlet, and the plastic ridges snap into neat curves if you need them. I was also happy to see that you can use the extension sleeve to screw both pieces together for a super long tube, or you can use each piece independently. One piece was fine for me, so now I've got a backup I can keep in the garage just in case.
