They work, but do not light for very long. Even on bright days, the illumination lasts for about 2 hours.

I’ve tried other versions, and this has the brightest and longest light. Fits my lanterns perfectly. They are even better than the original Edison bulb that came with them. Highly recommend.

I needed these to replace some that had failed after winter storage. The size was almost perfect, but not quite. It leaves a small gap for moisture to get in. The brightness is acceptable. The durability is yet to be seen.

I purchased several of these. About half of these failed within a couple of weeks. They were all in about the same location so they basically received the same amount of sunlight. I took the bad ones apart to see what the problem was. The led lights worked fine when I put a standard AAA in them. I took a battery out of one that worked and put it in the bad one and after a day or two it stopped working. My only conclusion I could determine was the the solar panel was not charging the batteries.

So happy with this product fits a big range of solar lanters.My lanters stop working the solar light was not working changed the battery and still no luck.Got these replacements on Amazon and they fit perfect and are on all night with the perfect warm white light. So I saved my lanters.

I purchased some used solar lanterns from Amazon and all worked but one. I saw these replacement caps and after measuring to make sure I had the right size, I ordered them. There were a tiny bit smaller than the one that was in there but not enough to be concerned. I was a bit worried about whether they'd be as bright however, but once the sun went down, those concerns went out the window. You couldn't even tell the difference. They worked perfectly and were just as bright! For full disclosure, this was my second purchase as the ones I was sent initially were defective and I was given a full refund by the seller. They were quick and eager to make things right. I'm very pleased with these (and the sellers response to first purchase) and would definitely buy again. Recommend!
