Just the upgrade we were looking for to our gate. We love the height of these lights as most we've had in the past were much shorter and not nearly as noticeable. The metal construction is great. The bulbs put off a bright, warm light. There are two settings. One, for just motion sensing set to come on when approached and then go off. The other setting is to give off dimmer light continuously [light-sensored], and then to the brighter mode when approached, and then reverts to the dimmer light for dusk to dawn when no motion detected. There are four solar panels on top, which gives greater power storage. Installation was easy. We are not using them on metal posts. We have ours installed on 6 inch gate posts and they fit perfectly. There are screws included, however we opted to use wood screws since our posts are wood. We love the look and functionality of using solar. You can beat the overall value and quality of this set of two lights.

These lights charged up super fast in the sunlight! After receiving, I laid them outside to charge all day, and they came right on at night. I ordered these to put on my deck posts, not realizing my deck posts were pointy instead of flat, so I’m unable to provide any installation photos. The sides are also made of glass, so you need to make sure you really drill these in properly, as if the wind blew them over they’d be sure to break. I still think they’re a good purchase!

These are very nice looking lights. They can be mounted on 3" round posts, or 6x6 (5.5") square posts. They are motion sensitive, so put out just enough light so you can safely move around, then brighten up when motion is detected. They are very sensitive and detect motion out to about 25 feet. They have solar panels on all 4 sides. With about 7 hours of sunlight they stay on all night (8+ hours).

I am so glad that DARIISI has added the Option to Order the Lantern with or without the Post Base to Their 2 Pack Outdoor Waterproof Solar Post Light Set. The Directions are Easy to Understand, Installing the Post Lights is Straightforward with no Issues Whatsoever. I am always amazed as to how these Dependable Lanterns Remain Lit All Night Long after Several Days of High Winds, Rain, & Snow. This comes with 2 solar lamps, the clear-windowed bases, mounting plates (for square post tops), mounting screws, and a mini screwdriver. They can be mounted on a pole or on top of a square fence post, and screws for both are included.There are 4 solar panels on top of each light, one on each side, to catch sunlight no matter how it's set up.Next to the bulb is the motion sensor and power/mode button. You have to press an hold the power button for TWO SECONDS to turn it on and off. Once on, prescthe button within 2 seconds to select mode one, again for mode two, again for mode 3.Mode 1: light stays in low light mode until sensing someone, then goes bright while they're there;Mode 2: light is off until sensing someone, then goes bright while they're there;Mode 3: light turns on low at dusk and turns off at dawn.

The DARIISI 2 Pack Solar Post Lantern Lights are very well made, I was pleasantly surprised to see that it is made go glass sides metal and strong plastic.The lights are easy to set up the the LED bulbs are included which is very bright once it comes on. These lights are very sturdy and they look very nice as well once they come on at night, I did let mine charge fully in the sun, the motion sensor works nice as well.I love the traditional look of these light with ties in with the rest of the lighting I already have out doors. The lights upgrades the appearance of the existing lights giving the curb appeal a modern flare.These lights can be mounted any where in the landscape and I am considering replacing my wired pole light with one of these lights. They also look fantastic on masonry as well as gated entry. I mostly appreciate having ample lighting outdoors without having to spend extra on electricity.
