Refused to mount on my Corny keg ball lock despite repeated effort. Keg was brand new but the center pins moved easily so the problem must be these quick disconnects.

These have a sturdy feel about them. Gaskets fit and are snug in place. When cleaning my kegerator and lines, I can swap these out for the ones heading off for a soak.

I use a ridiculous number of ball lock connectors in my homebrew hobby. Always making another adapter line to test/add a different chiller or to replace and rehab old pressure lines and beer lines in my multi-tap serving system. Too many years at this hobby and too many experiments and too much accumulated equipment.If you brew, ferment and serve your homebrew mostly in corny kegs, and - if you routinely clean your kegs and beer lines, you may have run into situations (typically at the worst time --- mid-brew day where you find you desperately need another line or have sprung a leak or had some other problem while transferring wort, chilling wort, etc. Having a few extra corny connectors or spare ball lock lines can be a life-saver when the machines are painfully spraying hot wort all over the place when that 'impossible' disaster occurs.These are 'standard' universal corny ball locks. Learn to disassemble and how clean and rehab these connectors. You'll chance less potential contamination points and you'll vastly increase the life and use of the connectors.These connectors are manufactured well, so far as I can tell. No bad molds with sharp points or edges, good springs inside, the several I've tested so far don't seem to reduce liquid flow at all. And when put back together (adding a bit of keg lube to the o rings), they still did not leak.Recommended.

They do the job but the black ones are really hard to instal and remove.

It's great to have these quick disconnects on hand. I use them all the time. These quick disconnects work perfectly with my cornelius kegs. I obviously use these for beer and CO2 when serving beer, but they also work for closed loop transfer, when transferring from the fermenter to the keg.The ball lock quick disconnects work with my fermzilla all rounder as well!The hose barbs can be removed from each quick disconnect. It also comes with four hose clamps.I am very happy with these ball lock quick disconnects.Thank you for reading my review, I hope it was helpful!
