The plexiglass sheets are as advertised. There are no concerns/issues. They work for various DIY crafts/projects.Rating System⭐️ 1 star= Disappointed. I don't recommend it at all, poor quality, or not as advertised.⭐️⭐️ 2 stars = Has some redeeming quality.⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars = It's passable. These black acrylic sheets are just what I need to replace the failing acrylic backing for some brass numbers I use outside the front door of our house to display our street address. That old acrylic was clear with a coat of white paint on the back in order to provide contrast and that paint is flaking off. This black acrylic will provide better contrast and the color should last much longer. The sheets are just as described in the Amazon listing and were packed very carefully, with plastic guides that protected the corners and held the two pieces together.

I purchased this black acrylic sheet to use with my 40-watt diode laser for crafting, and overall, I’m very happy with the quality. The color is smooth and consistent, though it’s not quite as glossy as some other acrylic sheets I’ve used. That wasn’t a dealbreaker for me, but something to note if you’re looking for a highly reflective surface.The thickness was as advertised—right around 3mm. It performed exceptionally well in my machine, cutting cleanly in a single pass with no signs of melting or excessive edge residue. The edges were crisp, and I didn’t experience any warping or uneven cuts. I first used it to create a grab-handle for my laser head.For laser cutting projects, this is a solid choice. It’s reliable, cuts cleanly, and delivers a professional-looking result. I’d definitely recommend it for anyone using a diode laser for crafts or signage.

I ordered these to test on my desktop CNC router. They came in well packaged and protected. They have protective sheets on them to keep them from getting scratched until use. The color is a nice deep dark black that is consistent throughout the entire sheet. It cut like butter on my machine. I suspect they could be cut on a laser. It says its acrylic and that not a worry on a laser if it is in fact acrylic. I haven't tried it yet but I do have an enclosed and vent laser I can use just in case. Overall they are nice sheets of acrylic. They look good and cut easily.

This is good quality raw acrylic sheet, which you can get delivered fast and cost-effectively for projects. Mine is making several bases for solderless breadboards for electronics prototyping. The material was shipped reasonably well protected, the surface is shiny, and I can't find anything wrong with the product.This is a good use case for Amazon and I hope the selection and quality of raw materials continues to grow.

If you're looking for quality acrylic for laser cutting projects, this is exactly what you want. The measurements are fairly precise - the 2.82mm thickness is very good for what is typically advertised as 3mm. They ship with good quality protective film on both sides and corner protectors. This material cuts flawlessly in a GlowForge Plus using the proofgrade medium-thick acrylic setting (and that's with transfer tape on both sides - be sure to remove the protective tape used with shipping). Recommended!

These black acrylic sheets are a great option for crafting, signs and other DIY projects. The material feels sturdy and durable, and the matte black finish gives it a nice look. One thing to keep in mind is the 1/8-inch thickness, it’s good for many projects but may not be rigid enough for heavy-duty applications. If you need something more solid, a thicker sheet might be a better choice.Overall these plexiglass sheets work well and are easy to work with. Great for custom projects if you need a sleek black acrylic surface!

This is perfect for my laser cutter. It cuts easy on my 10 watt diode machine. The listing says to not use a laser. Which had me thinking it was a black polycarbonate instead of acrylic. Looking at the material it is in fact acrylic and not polycarbonate. Acrylic can be lasered, but poly can not, it emits toxic fumes. I have a fume extractor and enclosure for my machine, and it is used in my workshop. All of the fumes exhaust outside. This is what has worked for me, with the product they sent. They may use different vendors and want to ensure safety for everyone which is why they don't recommend lasers.
