Handy tool to have for a copper pipe soldering job. Will see how durable it is.

Worked fairly well on PVC pipe. However, if it starts to chatter or nick the pipe, might as well smooth out the nicks with a file because continued use of the reamer will only make them worse to the point of not working. I found it easier for a smooth result to turn the pipe in the reamer rather than turn the reamer. One wouldn't think it would make a difference, but for me it did.

For the non-scientific art of deburring, and getting the orifice back to its original diameter, this does the job in tight closures way better than a utility knife. I can’t really tell how well it is doing in the above arts, but I even use it on my pex. Over their deburring tool. It works better. Someone should make this type of model per pipe diameter. I like it and use it each fitting connect, but see a future with this type of triple blade a little more exact, in our future

The product worked well on small pipes. The only reason it is not getting 5 stars is it does not work with 1.5" pipe. Be aware that the measurements specified are for the OD of the pipe and not the ID as pipes are typically classified. Looking back at the pictures in the description, it can be seen the max OD of the pipe is 1.5". This product will not work with standard 1.5" pipe (~1.9" OD).

These de-burrers work very nice for following on with push to connect fittings.
