Red Wigglers are tough and hardy. Adaptable to many environments, Redworms have been breaking down organic waste to make natural fertilizer for millions of years. They also aid in the breaking down of pathogens. These worms are prolific breeders, laying one egg capsule as often as every seven days. Each worm capsule will hatch an average of 3 to 4 earthworms. The hatched earthworms will grow into breeders in about three months. They are very popular live bait for fish that prefer small baits, such as trout, bluegill, perch or crappie. Red Wigglers are easy to use as bait, easily surviving in temperatures between 38 to 95 degrees Fahrenheit.

I have been ordering worms from Joe for over a year now. The worms have always arrived alive & healthy & a good amount. I have what I call a playground for my chickens, when the worms arrive I put them in the playground and cover them with cardboard. When they are established well, my chickens spend hours scratching & hunting for them.P.S. after you order mention Woodstock and you get a discount.

i purchased these 2.5 years ago (only $2 less back then!) to start a colony in one of the stacking bins. Fast forward and the stacking colony is thriving along with 8 other colonies in totes that are bursting at the seams. They are incredibly productive and propagate very well. They are only fed plant based food scraps and all of my scrap paper. The bin started outdoors and I have soil mites and some other critters that share the work but I don't mind them as they only increase production. I grow about 40-50% of my own food and everyone asks what kind of fertilizer I use to get such beautiful plants and I simply tell them it's worm poop! Going to inoculate my raised beds with some worms this summer with some cullings from the existing colonies because I now have too many worms! By far the best investment I have ever made. I don't even have trash service any longer!

Received worms package earlier yesterday, earlier than expected.Worms was well packed. Worms are alive & in good condition. I followed instructions to add some water to give them some moisture. Put worms in worm bin. Excited too see them to move around & burrow down.Very satisfied with the purchase. Will recommend to friends & neighbors.

Nowhere near the quantity of worms advertised . Also they were very immature. I will not be using this seller again.

To all my worm wrangler friends - - I've got the deepest pockets and the shortest arms, so any bait and switch (no pun intended) sales tactic immediatly draws my ire. In the case of this supplier, even with my jaded view of online transactions, I having great success overall. Now let me be clear, no two orders are the same and I too have experienced what I believed to be shortages and "all dirt" deliveries. But in retrospect this supply is the most consistent when it comes to weight, packaging, worm count and satisfaction. What I've learned over the last 18 months as a worm farmer, is that are many factors that impact a worm order and delivery, and not all of them can be controlled by the supplier. I've come to the conclusion that one shouldn't make a judgment on just one order. Assess the quality of the supplier over time. As to customer service, I have had nothing but responsive accurate communications with this supplier. Now to our friends at WWJM - please change the pictures on Amazon. You are setting many wormer up for disappointment when you present a picture of a overflowing mass of worms. I do get those kinds of masses over time and good husbandry of our little friends, but that is never how they come in your shipment. I believe if you manage expectations some of the negative reviews will be mitigated. In the meantime keep up the good work.
