Switched all my flock waterers to these so I could be a little more lazy. That’s the best thing I ever did for them. Attached a short piece of hose to the clean out so that I could direct the dirty water away. Makes keeping them clean so much easier than those small waterers you constantly have to refill. Now if only I can figure out something to keep them from perching on the side.

This is a really nice and complete kit. I only installed one of these and plan to add the second but haven't had the time and also would like bury a water pex water line. I installed one where we kept a water bucket hanging near the barn stalls and it works really good. I'm using a hose connection for the water and have a hose on the drain that drains out the side of the barn. It works great and we drain it a couple times a week because it gets dirty as the buckets did. This is a nice time saver to make sure the water is full.
