For certain types of foods that you may want to cook in a conventional oven, absent an air fryer, I highly recommend this. I am of that set of circumstances, I do not have enough kitchen to buy all the wonderful toys I could get for different foods. Next best thing, I bought this device instead. A fresh addition to the cooking sheet collection and I get a whole new level of cooking some of my favorite kinds of breaded foods!I set up for my first test with frozen breaded fish and tater tots. I laid down a sheet of aluminum foil on the base pan to make clean-up a snap, sprayed the whole thing with cooking oil to make the "cage" easy to clean. Baking time for it was a cross between normal oven time and air fryer time. I've also learned from the experience, so I know how to use the estimated cooking times more effectively. Otherwise, the breading was perfectly formed at the end of cooking, no turnover required, and in this case, the meat of the fish was tasty.The size of the sheet, as you likely realize, is no different from the average baking sheet. The basket itself, in entirety, is a matter of additional inches in space required for storage. A fair exchange for the added benefits for a kind of cooking you might grow to appreciate.

First of all, it's big. It's much bigger than I expected, which is great because it means I can cook more food at once. The basket is also very sturdy and well-made. I've used it to cook all sorts of things, from french fries to chicken wings to vegetables, and it's held up perfectly.I also love that the basket is dishwasher safe. This makes cleanup a breeze. I just toss it in the dishwasher and it comes out sparkling clean.Overall, I'm very happy with my OPENICE Air Fryer Basket and Tray Set. While I own an Air Fryer, which I very much enjoy having, not only for health reasons, but also for convenience purposes, but OPENICE’S “Air Fryer Basket for Oven, OPENICE 15.4"×11.0" Oven Air Fryer Basket and Tray Set, 2 Pieces Crisping Tray and Pans for Grilling Frying Baking,” is my very first time purchasing and using one. I didn’t even know these existed! 🤭 I quite love this as this isn’t only well-priced but, this also works great. As we all know it, air fried food is way healthier for us to consume than oil fried food in general. So this is definitely a great find and something to consider.A few things I like about this oven air fryer and basket set:▪️Size: I love how this comes in a medium size, as it’s easier to handle, and easy to use, clean, and store.▪️Materials used: Thicker quality stainless steel than others I’ve looked at, which feels solid and durable. Seems long-lasting as well with proper care.▪️Versatile: This can be used for different recipes such as chicken, seafood, vegetables, and more. You can also use the drip tray by itself as a regular pan for baking or for broiling.▪️Design: The deeper design drip tray can hold quite a bit of liquid droplets from whatever it is I’m frying, eliminating and/or minimizing messes in the oven.▪️ Price: Very affordable for something very well-made and functional.The only thing that I would have liked added to this is a nonstick drip tray and a nonstick crisping tray, eliminating the need for a foil, making it environmentally-and-budget friendly. Other than that, this is an excellent invention, and I recommend this to others.

Most air fry units I have tried I have not been happy with due to the small capacity. You cannot bunch up food in an air fryer and expect it all to do well. Food needs to have space for circulation of hot air!!So, when this unit became available I thought, finally a large open surface and decided to give it a try. I have a large countertop toaster oven that also has an Air Fry function. So, I decided to try that. I tried corn dogs first, then french fries, Onion rings, and then chicken. All of them turned out very good without any burnt edges. Again, I did not overload the tray. I found that for three people, it worked extremely well. There was room left over, so I would say that it would work well for four. Past that point, it all depends on volume of your items and quantity.The company suggests hand washing for longivity. That is probably a good suggestion and I found that to be a simple process and quick as long as you used a piece of aluminum foil in the drip pan. My roll of foil is wide enough that a single piece will form a nice tray in the drip pan. I did NOT spray the rack with any type of commercial spray as I have found that most of those form a nasty layer that is almost impossible to clean. Instead, I put a little olive oil on a paper towel and wiped the rack with it. Works great and cleans up easily.I am pleased with the unit because it is effective and eliminates the need for one more appliance competing for counter space!!I would recommend it.
