After 3 years of use, our "permanent" coffee filter developed a crack on the rim that was starting to spread to the wire mesh, so I ordered this 2-pack for a bit over 3 bucks each. Even with a limited lifetime of 3 years, that comes to less than a penny a day for the filter to perform its job, keeping the coffee grounds out of the coffee pot, which it does admirably. Can't get much more cost-effective than that, and my wife feels better about not having to cut down trees to produce one-time-use paper filters. Win-win!

Durable. Works well. Easy to clean. Has a tendency to let fine ground coffee through the filter, but overall a good option for replacing paper filters.

Fits both my Krups KM-100 at home and cheap Kitchen Gourmet coffee at work perfectly. These will pay for themselves in 30-45 days.

I like this have purchased it twice only improvement would be if it didn't have the plastic on the sides and top and bottom.
