How to install:
4.You'd better wear long sleeves and gloves to avoid itching or uncomfortable;
5.Soak the header heat wrap before applying to make it more docile;
6.Wrap it around your exhaust pipe and use the stainless ties to lock the ends in place.
How many wrap needed?
Take motorcycle for example, it needs 16-33 ft for single exhaust pipe, 50-65 ft for double exhaust pipe. It is recommended to wrap 2- 3 layers. (The sound insulation effect depending on how many layers are wrapped ).
Note:
Dyed products may fade after 900 Fahrenheit degrees, but do not affect the function

This comes with gloves, This has fiber that will get on your clothes and it’s not washing out, I used tape and remove it from my arms, I tossed my old T shirt, So keep the gloves on and have extras, But this will save the starter from heat soaking. Fantastic for blocking the heating problems on any engine made

I had some holes in my headers and wrapped them in this and they have been sealing the leak for a couple of weeks now. The glove is essential because the fibers will make you itch.

La cinta térmica llegó en buenas condiciones, aún no la he instalado pero en el anuncio dice que vienen incluidos unos guantes, lo cual me parece terrible que envíen unos en vinilo y están usados, están sucios y huelen horrible que falta de respeto enviar algo usado y contaminado.

I ordered this a long time ago for my son's Grom. Sadly, he never used it because he sold his motorcycle not long after I got this for him. However, the product seems to be of good quality, but unfortunately, I can't speak to its ease of application or its durability.

I am very impressed with this BLUERICE 2" x 50' Fiberglass Exhaust Heat Wrap Roll Fireproof Heat Shield and it is the perfect header wrap for rods with tight bends in their tubes. The black looks really good and this is some quality stuff for sure. I like the 10 ties that it comes with and the gloves are a nice bonus.I highly recommend it.

I drive an E90 BMW M3 and there's an exhaust mod whereby you cut open the bottom of your OEM muffler and wrap the inside perforated pipes so that your exhaust becomes mostly open-pipe. There's 4 pipes and most people wrap just 2 pipes, so roughly, it increases your stock exhaust noise level by 50% (that's not an exact science, but you get what I'm saying).This kit is absolutely perfect. While I can't attest to the 900degF claims, I know that my exhaust at the end of the tail pipe is nothing close to 900degrees, much less 200 degrees.This kit comes with the fiberglass roll, gloves to protect you (ie. raw fiberglass is like touching a cactus), and the stainless steel locking ties. Basically everything I would have had to purchase, yet this comes in a nice kit. The fiberglass roll is very thick and the locking ties work well.
