I’m using these tree guards on my apple trees to deter pests, and they seem to be working well so far. The mesh is strong but breathable, allowing air circulation while keeping critters away. A simple but effective tree protection solution!

It is strong stuff, but not very stiff, so it was a little hard to put up

After losing a young pecan tree to a mischievous deer, I decided to take action and protect my other saplings. The Threekia Mesh Tree Trunk Protector Guard has proven to be a game-changer in my ongoing battle with the local wildlife. This 20-foot roll of heavy-duty mesh is a godsend for my budding orchard. It's remarkably easy to work with - I simply cut it to size and wrapped it around each trunk. The 100 included ties made securing the guards a breeze. What I particularly appreciate is how the mesh allows air to circulate, unlike some solid guards that can trap moisture and potentially harm the trees. While the protection is top-notch, I did find the mesh a bit stiff at first, which made it slightly challenging to wrap around smaller saplings. However, this initial rigidity seems to soften over time without compromising its protective qualities. For me, this minor inconvenience is a small price to pay for the peace of mind knowing my trees are safe from those antler-happy visitors. Now, I can focus on nurturing my young trees without constantly worrying about deer damage.

This mesh is heavy-duty. Thick and sturdy and doesn't flop over.My plan is to use it in frames to protect tomato plants from squirrels and birds. Its sturdy enough to stay standing when they jump or land on it, but not tear or break apart. The mesh openings are wide enough to allow sunlight to come through.

We only take from Vine what we need and use. This is an excellent product for protecting your trees and bushes from rodents and rabbits. Its stiff enough to stand on its own when place in a circle and tied together (i do use stakes though for extra strength for larger circles). It is more flexible than metal counter parts and actually, whilst not overly important, it looks attractive too.I know there are cheaper options, but this is quality.

I raise a lot of indoor and outdoor plants. I'm always having to buy or make screens to put over the drainage holes in my pots. I saw this roll of plastic mesh and it looked like a great option to make screens with. I was really happy to see the spacing of the mesh when I received my roll. It's the perfect size to allow water to drain and to keep my soil in the pot where it belongs. I took some light duty wire cutters to cut the plastic to the shape of the inside of my pot bottoms. I added the soil and plants and watered everything in. The mesh works great for my needs. No soil was lost and the water flowed out of the bottom of the pot freely. I didn't use the mesh for its intended purpose so it's fair to say it's a versatile product. I'm very happy with how it worked out and am giving this product a yes.

Not a lot to say on this one. Its a black plastic mesh that can be easily put around your trees for protection. Obviously if a rodent wants to get in they can chew through it. So it's more of a deterrent, although it does work. If you have deer in your area you'll want to zip tie several of these on top of each other to get the height you need.
