The diameter is much bigger than I expected, but I should have read it I guess. Solid construction, though I did break a screw seat when I overtightened the screw holding it (my fault). It's removable, and I like that for when I want to take down the clothes rack one day.

These seem to do the job, but as noted in other reviews they aren't really black like shown in the listing. They are a mid range grey. They grey isn't necessarily a bad shade, just not what I expected from the pics.

Purchased these to try them with a slightly different application (they say they are for mirrors and glass, but…) I used them to hold the upholstered panels to the walls of my sprinter van. I did not use the included screws I modified some m5 screws and they worked perfectly! Really happy with the result and people keep asking “what are those?” & “how did you do that?” A bit expensive but I highly recommend!
