So these are ok wood screws, honestly I have no idea why anyone makes phillips head anymore but we wanted a variety for a work day with volunteers. These went in pretty good, only had a few stripped out but most had wear on the head by the time they were sunk.

After years of fighting my own best interest I've really started to get into buying these sets of various sizes of hardware so that when the day inevitably comes that I need that exact size screw I have it ready to go for a small upfront cost.I've ordered several of the sets from this company, MyWish, and they've all been solid sets at a good value. I haven't had any problems with poor quality control or stripping and while they might not be the best screws money can buy they are certainly usable and not a junk screw that instantly strips.One positive and negative, MyWish always includes these sets in a plastic case with dividers. Each size of screw comes in a plastic bag. That is a big plus to keep them separate. The negative is that none of the bags are marked. Sure, you can figure out the sizes yourself but I would love to have the bags stamped with the size.
