I needed white screws to match my central air ceiling vent covers. The installer had used ugly hex head screws which stuck out and looked industrial (and not in a good way). These screws worked fine - the threads were clean and even and so far I've not found any malformed screws in the box. The heads are painted white and it's a good neutral bright white and was a spot on match for the white metal vent covers I have.My only complaint - and why I couldn't give them 5 stars - is that the paint on the screw heads scratched off easily. I was very careful to drive the screws by hand only using a good #2 phillips head screwdriver but even with just a slight cam-out at the end it took enough of the paint off the slots that I replaced a few scratched screws with fresh ones to get the proper look. Once it was done it looked nice, but I wouldn't try driving these with a power driver under any serious torque for fear of really damaging the paint surface.Still, they were nice screws at a fair price and so deserve a solid 4 stars.
