I bought these to use on my 10 series (1inch) genuine 8020 rails. You have to fiddle with them a bit to get them to bite as they are not meant for 1inch (25.4mm) rails but they works just fine after they bite. These are definitely cheaply made as about 20% of them are tapped at an incorrect angle. I am willing to live with this for the price.

The first, and probably most important thing for many, is that these do fit openbuilds V-slot extrusions. They are almost identical in shape to the drop-in tee nuts that openbuilds sell/supply, and for about 10% of the cost per nut. That price doesn't come without a cost of its own however. There were several little bits of metal swarf in the bag, which seem to be from when the threads were tapped. Testing out some of the nuts I noticed that about 20-30% of the nuts were hard to start due to the threads not being clean, and several of those pushed out bits of metal when threaded and then threaded more easily. A couple of them were just impossible to thread at all, and thus useless.I also noticed that the threads were not completely straight in several of them. This may or may not be an issue, depending on what you're trying to mount, since normally whatever you're attaching to an extrusion is squared by being flush against the extrusion, and the nut is used just to clamp it in place, so only in rare circumstances would this be problematic, but does highlight the lack of quality control. All that being said ... are they worth it ?In my opinion, YES.Most of the badly tapped nuts could still be threaded ok, just with a little extra resistance at first. The couple that weren't usable could just be considered disposable. The price is what makes these worthwhile. The equivalent drop-in tee nuts are normally $0.89 EACH from openbuilds, that means that for just 10 of them you'd be paying almost $9 plus $3 in postage, so getting this pack of 100 (and maybe throwing out 1 or 2) is cheaper than getting 10 from them.Sure the nuts from openbuilds are much higher quality, but I'm not sure why they're so expensive (in comparison their low-profile screws are a decent value)

Worked as expected on my Openbuilds Vslot extrusions. I'm not sure if they'll work in any other as I do not have any other brand/type/kind of extrusions.

These things worked great for my project involving 20x20 extrusions. Threads were all good and have not yet found a defected one.I just put them on the end of the screws on the parts I needed to attach, lined them into the slot, and when I tightened they locked in. Very simple.

Quality very good. I use them for attaching 12mm linear rails to extrusions for my Corexy 3d printer build. Will be ordering more soon.

These work well in a 2020 aluminum extrusion frame for a 3d printer. Occasionally, one would slip and rotate and not stay in place. These made a big difference to make the frame more rigid.

Used these on my Anet A8 to AM8 2040 Extrusion conversion. Glad I went with these so I was able to add parts later without taking things apart. A few were deformed but I used them on non essential parts like the LCD enclosure. Spend the few extra dollars and get a little more versatility with these over 5mm square nuts. The square nuts are very very difficult to slide into the Extrusion and I quickly gave up on them.

replaced all the cheaper T-nuts on 3d printer and greatly enhanced the rigidity of the unit

I used these t nuts for building a 3d printer out of 2020 and 2040 extrusion. I have used almost all 100 t nuts and they all have worked fine. I had one that the tap was crooked on, yet I managed to get it to work. Overall, all everything was good. Next time I might buy slide in nuts instead of drop in nuts because I had a few brackets that the nuts did not want to twist on.

Great extrusion but. I've order these several times, for my 3d printer extrusion frames, and like them a lot. Good quality. Will still continue to purchase them when needed for future projects.

These work perfectly for my extrusions. I'm using the V-Slot linear rails from OpenBuilds. These T-nuts have just enough room to drop in and rotate inside the rails. Just make sure you measure and check the dimensions before ordering. They list all the dimensions in the picture so it's not really fair to give a bad review if you didn't check the size first.
