I always use them for safety and to save the body seam. I have been using these on every car since I got them . I don't like pushing on the edge of the seam of the vehicle where that's the best place to lift it up. It gives me peace of mind knowing the jack won't slip when I lift up the vehicle. Very important when you have nice bodywork on the sides of the car like my wife's Lexus. 2 different types included. Great value for your safety.

These are very strong jack and jack stand pads that save the lift point seam that most cars have. The jack stand pads fit perfectly on a 2-3 ton jack stand and the pucks fit well inside a 3 ton floor jack or a larger OTR 20 ton jack stand. You probably wouldn't use the pucks on an OTR jack stand if using it for its designed purpose on a tractor trailer, but they work really well if using them for an incredibly stable platform for a car if you don't have the room or access to a car lift.

Quality and solid products. The jack stand pads work perfect but the floor jack pads are a bit small for my floor jack. They still work ok but may have to look for some that are a bit larger diameter to better fit my floor jack.

These help protect the part of the car you Jack up on pretty good. Good choice for rusty or weak jacking points.

Anyone using a garage floor jack needs to pay attention. As you well know, putting the floor jack's metal cup directly under the metal pinch weld of your vehicle is a cringe-worthy experience. You always wonder if the pinch weld will get damaged. In come these pucks (pads). First measure the jack's cup to see what pad size you need. Simply place the pad in the floor jack's cup and align the slot with the pinch weld on your vehicle. That's it. I have attached some pics of using one of the jack pads on my Jeep Compass. As you can see, the Compass has these rocker panel covers with cutouts for pinch weld access for placing the jack to the vehicle (these are the manufacturer's recommended jacking locations). However, these rocker cover cutouts can also limit the size of the floor jack cup that can fit in there. The jacking pucks (pads) also help give the floor jack proper clearance for such vehicles (please refer to the attached pic #3 to see what I mean). I have also attached before and after pics of the condition of the puck that I used. In the after picture you can see where the pinch weld made a shallow indentation inside the groove of the pad. You will also see a secondary indentation in the top surface on one side of the pad's groove. That was created by a metal ridge that runs alongside the pinch weld on my Compass; if your vehicle does not have that ridge next to the jacking point on the pinch weld, you would only have that indentation inside the puck's groove. The puck survived very well from lifting the tire entirely off the garage floor. It can definitely be safely reused; from what it looks like, many more times. The jacking puck should also work fine for vehicles where you wish to place the floor jack under an axle or control arm, etc. Always check you vehicle's owner's manual for safe jacking locations. The jack stand covers work well also; I have had a similar set of those on my jack stands for many years. Like the jacking pucks, they also work to protect pinch weld or axle metal surface. If you are going to use a floor jack on your vehicle, why not get a set of these protector pads to really protect the metal on your vehicle and have some piece of mind when jacking up or setting your vehicle on stands. Highly recommended. A++++++
