I am installing fenders on my pick up and rather than removing the fender wells and installing a nut on the back side of the screw, I bought these. The work perfectly for my setup! I am able to install the fenders in less than half the time!

You need a certain amount of skill to install these. Once installed they work well for certain specific applications. Mine was adding water bottle cage mounts to a bicycle.
