This is an item that you don't think about until you need it. If you do any type of drum assembly/restoration/ repair you will likely need one of these at some point as original ones go missing or get stripped or damaged. And really -who is going to know or care if you don't have the "OEM" replacement? These are good enough quality, probably better than many of the name brand. for the price you should pick some up and just keep them in a drawer for the inevitable...

These type of maintenance/repair items are difficult to review. The most important thing is whether they fit the job (have the dimensions described in the product page) and last an acceptable amount of time.These are as described, but I can't speak to longevity, and won't be able to for (hopefully) years.I did notice that these are a noticeable amount costlier than other comparable Amazon items, and that's my reason for dropping them from 4 to 3 stars.

I thought I needed to replace the lugs on my vintage snares until I realized I could just swap these out for modern lug screws. Worked well!
