This loop definitely drastically magnifies small text. Great for viewing tiny text printed on products such as USB charging bricks and the like. Maybe i's just me, but it feels like you have to very close to both the loupe and text in order to get a clear (and right side up) image. If you pull the loupe too far back, you'll get the inverted focus position, so you must use it quite close to what you are magnifing. Super useful in many ways, but I really kind of wish it it would magnify without having to nearly touching the loupe to the content to be magnified and an eye.
